Sound in Central Park- Blog post #2

While walking in Central park during the day on Saturday, Horses hooves clamped against the hard cement floor as leaves rustled in the wind. I heard the strong pounding of the wind as it hit the trees. I heard a young woman talking on her cellphone about her weekend plans and heard the sounds of a young child crying and screaming about going to the doctor the following week. Dog tags jingled as they pranced alongside their jogging owners. I heard car horns beeping in the distance. I heard a woman’s phone ring as she was trying to find where her phone was located in her purse. I could hear her keys jingle as she tried to find her ringing phone. When I sat down on a bench in the park, I heard a man munching on his crispy tacos and slurping a coca cola. As the old lady who sat next to me threw nuts to the squirrels, I heard the animals cracking open the nut with their sharp teeth. There was a munching sound each time that they bit into the walnut.
